Re: My 64.

It’s been a while since I have updated, but I have been busy! I have the truck at home. Its running good I replaced hoses, h20 pump, fuel pump and, have sand blasted and painted a lot of brackets.

I have a couple of questions to ask.
1. Gas Tanks, I plan to make a low rider out of it and thought about putting a under the bed mount gas tank. Good or Bad idea?
2. Disk Breaks, I’m looking at buying a 79 Silverado SWB to get the conversion off of it. I don’t think the master cylinder will work on my 64, it looks too big. If you have done this swap and have any tips or must do’s please let me know.

Here are some pics before I cleaned it up.

Ill put more up tomorrow

The typical Blazer tanks hang down kind of low. I'd say it depends how low you're going to go.

Re: My 64.

It’s been a while since I up dated. I have been saving up money to but the 73 Silverado I just bought for the disk conversion and power steering conversing. Today my dad and I just started pulling it apart. We didn’t get far because of the rain and lack of day light.

The 73

My 64

Took out the old grill.

The newer grill my dad’s friend gave to me.

Re: My 64.

Nice. Nothing like your very first build, trying to break those frozen bolts, all the busted knuckles and of course the feeling of getting chemicals in the cuts.
