Re: My Truck is done, what do you think?

Thanks guys, great you all like the truck...

okay okay, the sticker really stands out... I've putted that one on there before the truck got it's new paint, I just didn't take it of yet But I think it really has to go!

@BruthaMan
I'm a local/native, but I've spent 2 years of my life (as a kid with my parents) in the states (Rockville, Maryland)... I think that's where & when I got hooked on trucks
Is there a base in Nürnberg? Thought the nex was in Grafenwöhr? Btw, I grew up in a small town called Herzogenaurach, right next to the "U.S. Herzo Base" (they closed it in 1991).

@3r!c84
those mirrors are from a 1991 G20 (the car i got my engine from). what do you mean with "bend in"?

@Rogue_Sentinel
thx but sorry, aint got any inside pictures cause it's all stock in the inside... Will have to do some changes there...

@Rob73-87
check out www.franken-cruiser.com there you can meet some US-Car drivers in the "franconian" Region.

Whats next? Well, the inside I think. Bucketseats... and we'll see what else

Oh, btw this truck is a 12/1980 canada built C10, it used to have a 350 diesel engine (i think they used that olds diesel) but we got rid of theat after the transmission broke down (try to find on for an olds diesel in germany). So I bought a 1991 Chevy G20 and the shop in Nürnberg swapped the engine (and all parts we could use). The Truck was bought by some italian guy

Here are some pics what the truck looked like when I bought it. (and another new one)

Re: My Truck is done, what do you think?

hm, can't edit my posting anymore...

The Truck was bought by some italian guy together with one of those camper that go on the bed... he didn't really use the truck so the most time it just stood somewhere in a grage in italy. As far as i know, I'm the second owner. Unfortunately the camper was leaky and not worth restoring it (mold and water damage), so i sold it...

Those old mirrors make it look like the old truck wants to get up and fly away!

Love the truck, looks real nice!
