Re: Parting out '82 short step c10

your pics were too big size wise, change the settings on your camera to take lower quality pics...then you should be able to post them no problem.

Re: Parting out '82 short step c10

Great, thanks for posting the pics, I am still interested in the dash bezel and gauges, but I can't quite tell from the pic, is the bezel area around the radio all butchered?

They look the same, but can anyone confirm that the 82 dash bezel will go into an 80?

The radio area wasn't touched. I'll try and get a better picture tonight.

Thanks, if possible, a pic of it out so I can also see the holes for the headlight switch and wipers too, just want to make sure it is the same as my 80.

Dash pics.

Sorry, I forgot about the damage to the mirror when I listed the price. How about $20 shipped.

if the metal strips for the wood bed aren't all messed up (bent) I would be interested in those Z(if you can remove them without damaging them).

well take a good look at them before you pull them if they are rusted (surface rust ok) or kinked I don't want them. Not trying to be a jerk, I just don't want to waste both our time.

Would you be interested in selling the front disc brake spindles only? It is a 2wd correct?

Yes, its 2wd. It all depends how soon you would like to have them. It still has the motor in it, and I need to be able to move it around for a while yet.

Re: Parting out '82 short step c10

pokethesmot I really don't want to part the bed.

NEW PRICING!

Best offer on all parts listed. I need to get this thing out of my yard. I need room for another parts truck for my'70. I would rather see someone use this stuff than go to the crusher.

Re: Parting out '82 short step c10

I could probably stretch it a month or two before I need them.. Give me a price shipped to 71457 and let me know how long you are thinking it will be before you're ready to get rid of em. Thanks.

Re: Parting out '82 short step c10

nsuengineer I should have it parted by then. They might be expensive to ship. I'll check on a price. How does $40 + shipping sound for both sides? Do you want the backing plates also?

Re: Parting out '82 short step c10

If the shipping price isn't too bad I could probably go $40. If you're throwing in the backing plates I'll take em. Also, when you get to taking it apart, some pictures of the spindles would be good. I want to be sure there isn't any excessive wear due to bad bearings..
