[COLOR="blue"]Great Site! That's what I've been looking for, . I'm going to have a long night tonight......
glad to. There are site sponsers there that probably offer pumps. Mallory has two bypass regs that are popular. If the pump isn't too far an overkill, the smaller one works. By-pass side of system must flow enough to cover the pump's output at low fuel need times [idle, cruise etc]

Thanks again for the info. I think I'm going to go with the Aero stuff. I've heard nothing but good about them.

Re: Need some engine advice and suggestions...

You won't be able to hook up the blow off valve on the set up you have now. Normaly they're located on the pipe towards the carb. You would have to change the rubber elbow for a steel or aluminum one.

I don't think you want to cut a hole in the box!

Did you get a wideband 02 yet?

Re: Need some engine advice and suggestions...

Sorry I forgot to mention.

Get a good fuel pump like an Aeromotive a1000 I think it is - Its good quality and will give you all the fuel this combo needs - you will need an adustible fuel pressure regulator and a return to the tank.

Also a like others have mentioned, a cold air set up would help too.

Also you need colder plugs with a blower - I'm not sure if thats what you're using or not

Is that flywheel HP or RWHP your making? I wasn't sure.

Yes the BOV would be located in that section of the pipe, but you need the aluminum pipe, not the rubber.

The BOVs aren't rated for certain boost levels it all depends on how much air you are pushing. A 50 mm BOV should be sufficient. I'm not exactly sure how to calculate the size.

Like Alex1 suggested the A1000 is a good pump and will work well with your combo.

It's so easy spending someone else money. Although I just bought a few of these same items.

I'm using AR3933 plugs. Flywheel HP.

Looks like I'll do the BOV first and then the regulator and pump. Can I cut out a section of the rubber and then add a piece of pipe in between with the BOV?

Here's the pump and fuel regulator I think I'm going to buy:

Aero 1000 Fuel Pump Part Number # 027-11101

Areo FPR Part Number # 027-13204

Those two items will work great, but lets take a step back. You say you have a 10AN line from the tank. What type of line is it? Is your fuel tank setup for a return and a pusher fuel pump? Does it have a sump? I know everyone doesn't run a sump and gravity feed their electric pumps, but it's ecommended and the pump will like it. Also keep in mind that you need a pre filter (100 micron) and a post filter (10 micron). Aeromotive sells a sump kit with built in filter and a1000 pump.

Thanks for the advice guys. I got the BOV today. It looks like a quality part. Hopefully I can get it installed by tomorrow. I'll get the wideband after I get the BOV, FPR and fuel pump installed. I'll post updates soon...

I'll have an update on the blow-off valve by the end of the week. In the mean time, here's a video of some burn-outs,

Real sweet ride. I would keep the 3:73 gear if your going to street drive it. I've always ran the same and it gives the best of both worlds, And with that much power, I don't think you need any more. My .02 Where is Pace, Fl?

I finally got my BOV installed. I still have to route a good vaccuum source to it and then I can go try it out. Is there anything I should double check before putting it to the test?

I still need to finish the fuel system, but the Suburban has been occupying most of my time. Can you describe the normal operation of the blow off valve. As it stands, as soon as I manually move the throttle it starts opening up and releasing air from the supercharger. When does this stop?

Good question. The instructions said it was preset at the factory and not to adjust it. Makes you wonder why they put an adjustment screw on it....

Suburban looks nice. I will have to check out the build thread.

You need to build boost or pressure in the intake in order for the valve to stay closed. The hose that comes from the intake to the BOV senses pressure or vacuum. Under boost it will close the valve and keep it closed. If there is vacuum in the intake it will open the valve. It appears that the BOV is doing what it is supposed to do. You don't want pressure when you are manually blipping the throttle.
Before you make any adjustments drive the truck and see if how it acts.

Roger that. It's been nasty weather her for the last couple of weeks so I really haven't gotten to drive it. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, I'll try to take it out then. Also, what are your thoughts on a PCV setup?

Re: Need some engine advice and suggestions...

Before I purchase a wideband setup, I need to upgrade the fuel system from the Holley black pump/Holley non bypass, non boost referenced FPR (anyone need to buy a pump and FPR, ) to some Aeromotive stuff. Here's what I'm planning for the fuel system:

A11101 - Fuel pump
A13301 - Boost reference fuel pressure regulator with return
A12301 - 10 micron fuel filter
A12304 - 100 micron fuel filter

The only thing I'm not sure of is the fuel pressure regulator. There seems to be a lot of choices. The 13301 is adjustable from 3-20psi and has a spring that can be changed to make it adjustable from 20 to 65psi if I ever switch to fuel injection. Thoughts?
