I drove it to work today. When I got home I started sanding on the front bumper. Hopefully I will get the bumper painted white and reinstalled by this weekend.

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
Opened the garage door and looked at it, then the cold blast of air hit me, and I went back inside and watched The Saints whoop the Patriots.
I hate winter. I hate cold weather. If it's below 70 it's too cold out.

backed it out the garage. Then got on top of my rust free cab in the corner of the garage. Droped the x-mas tree on said rust free cab/ladder. MERRY X-mas to me a dent

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
Gave it a pat on the hood - I'm driving the '70 while I'm redoing the bedwood in my '67. It's sitting in the garage waiting patiently for me to get to it.

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
just looked at it, then worked on bending and shaping new brake lines till I broke the flare kit, then off to ebay to find a good one. moral of the day... don't buy cheap tools.

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
Got a used dash/guage cluster in the mail today and opened the box. It was dirty as heck but looks ok. Was only $15 on Ebay including shipping. Gonna sell my speed warning/tach dash and install this cheapy one in its place. I don't need speed warning or a tach. It's a truck.

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
I took out my instrument panel out of my '67 to see if I could swap with a '69 inst. panel with gauges. That was a no go, the wiring on the printed circuit is different, and I think it'd be too much trouble to try and re-wire it. Right now my panel is drying in the garage after a chrome spray-paint job!

I built a sub enclosure for it today, then took the family out to dinner. We get thumbs up everywhere we go in the Burb.

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
Mine is in storage for the Winter but like any other day today I thought about next spring and how I'm going to install the parts I've been gathering. I have an ECE rear gas tank to go in as well as integrated shoulder seat belt seats from a 2003 Chev truck. I want to yank the gas tank from the cab before I install the seats and that means I need to install the rear gas tank. If I take the box off the truck to install the rear tank I might as well redo the wood floor as well. Where does it end, or does it ?

Re: What have you done to your 67-72 Chevrolet/GMC
Yesterday I drove it to the gym, helped my girl move some stuff for her work, then drove it to the shop to install and rewire a blower motor. Today I'll drive it through the snow to the gym and then off to court.

Smeared some paint remover on the top of the cab and on the firewall. Recieved new cab corners and rockers from Classic Muscle.
