Re: My New Shop
Best move you made was avoiding UNITED STEEL BUILDINGS nothing but theiving ******* well you get the point. Basicaly you send them money they send you set of plans to mark up. you send plans they say to start building. After while you try to check they say oh you never sent permision to start or well materail went up. Then they need more to start fabrication(aboiut 1/2 the total cost now). If your as stupid as me and have paid them the half they then tell you they need payment infull to ship .If you offer to hand deliver the studdering starts and oh they ship from differant location
Basically it a 17,500.00 lesson and by the way in Florida noone will even try to help you do anything about, legal system anywise.Yea other ideas have come to mind. By the way they are still in bussiness under new name I will post a warning thread as soon as I get it. Your bulding looks great and sorry not trying to hijack your thread just felt need to warn others. Last edited by augie; 08-13-2010 at 04:40 PM. Reason: language |

![]() I cannot say enough good things about SteelCo. They gave me the best price by far and the customer service was great. I would not think twice about buying another building from them. Last edited by augie; 08-13-2010 at 04:41 PM. Reason: language |

Re: My New Shop
I think if they screwed me out of that much money...they'd probably have a flaming car filled with things that go boom come barrelling through the main floor of their corp. offices.
then I'd wake up from my drunk.....and decide what I was going to do about it. ![]()

Re: My New Shop
Sorry to bring up an somewhat old thread, but this is exactly what I was looking for. I really want to build a shop about this size in the next year or so. I appreciate you giving the costs too, that was a big help!
