Its killer to be able to wrench on your own stuff. Just a click away for all the info you need.

Right on Alan....Well said !!

I've been away for a while, but thought about this forum everyday. Wife was like, "we need to get the net in the new house quick"

It is an awesome, and very informative site. I myself always try to contribute with as much info and pics as I can....as do all.

I say to all...keep it all coming !!

Re: It's getting bigger..........The 60-66 section that is.

I sold my 66 and got a 68 burb. I must admit I like our 60-66 side of the site better. Berry busy and fast pace over there. Guys on this side are a lot nicer, a lot of attitude over there! Lol

There's a lot of heart felt thoughts here.

A thought came to me just now................Could y'all imagine all of us living in the same neighborhood. Nothing would get done, it would be all talk.

Re: It's getting bigger..........The 60-66 section that is.

I acquired my first '60-'66 Chevy/GMC truck 30 years ago. At that time, if I had $5.00 to my name, half of it went into the tank and the other half was my walk-around money for the evening. I still have a few bi-fold, black & white, 6-8 page flyers with the complete offering of aftermarket parts for the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks. My, how times have changed...and I am very thankful and grateful for the increased interest and following for this era of trucks!

I have participated, in some fashion, with every other website, specific to the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks on the internet and without question, in my humble opinion, this is the "hands-down" leader when it comes to this era. Hardly a days goes by, that I don't learn another nugget of information about these trucks.

I have recently made a career change at the ripe old age of 45...and I am currently doing all things related to '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks as my full-time vocation. With the many great contributors on this site, coupled with the new members, lurkers and occassional posters, I find this to be a tremendous source of information and entertainment.

In a rough economic environment for many people, it is very empowering and comforting to have a nice reprieve from the fast-paced world, and be able to come to a place like this! This site has become a part of our daily routines and one that we will all look back on as a positive experience that binds our love for these trucks.

Many thanks to the staff, moderators, members, contributors, vendors and visitors of this site! Have a blessed day.

Re: It's getting bigger..........The 60-66 section that is.

My brothers and my friends all owned 67-72 trucks. I bought a '66 because it was in good shape. Soon after I began to regret it because parts and manuals weren't common.

Well, now I have a '66 and '67 and I like them both. This part of the website has a different "feel" than the 67-72 section and I like it. This place inspires me to keep chugging on my rebuild.

Cool forum w/cool people w/cool trucks and if you need help you get cool answers. I can't think of a better way to spend time each evening finding out who did what to there trucks and how they did it along with pic's. I belong to other forums and they all have there place but the 60-66 section is "THE" best IMO so to all you great guys and maybe some gals thanks for making it what it is a cool place....Vernski

You know, before if you didn't log in for a few days, you'd come back and there would be maybe a page, a page and a half of new posts/threads. Nowadays, there are two or three pages...
