H2 Wheels look good. what size are the wheels 17? My blazer is on 11th and Northern just off the 51

Right on. I'm far north valley, kind of near I17 and Carefree. Wheels are indeed 17's.

I just picked up a set of Silverado seats for the front as well. Found a set without power which made me happy as I don't have to worry about wiring them up now. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

You'll like the silverado seats. I like the built in shoulder belts, just make sure you brace the floor when you install them... If you were to have an accident you need the seat to stay put, not rip out of the floor...

Do you have pics on how you braced them? I've seen different posts about that because I guess the old method was to brace the seat belts and not the seat mounts so the belt being integrate removes the safety without bracing. Here's a pic of my seats. Not bad for 150 IMO. Still need the Tahoe third row for the back.

yeah, mine aren't secure yet. I actually used some old chineese made 1/2" sockets as spacers because the floor isn't level.... I did use one factory hole ...

I want to weld some bracing on the floor pan to spread the load where the seat will bolt down... I was also thinking about having studs come up from the floor rather then bolt down through it...

Third row Tahoe seating for $50? Yes thank you! Now I just need to get a section of the rear Tahoe flooring to weld in for the back seat and I'm good to go. I still need to figure out what I need to do for the brackets for the front seats as well. Making some progress finally!

You can buy a set of seat brackets off eBay .... I may go this route or make my own...

Post 37 has the pics. I just haven't determined what I'll need to fabricate in terms of brackets for the front seats so the don't rip out down the road.

Yours look very similar but a littler different, I agree. Either way, I Sold mine on craigslist so they are gone regardless. Worked out good for me though because I got new rims and tires for about 100 bucks in the end,

Thanks! It's definitely coming along. I'm working on buttoning it up so I can drive it again and then will be putting a 700R4 into it. Looking forward to having overdrive in this thing.

The primer was just sprayed with a can. The PO painted it all that way so I just stuck with it. Once I do what I want mechanically to it and fix up the interior I want to media blast it and get it done up properly.

My front driver side floorboard has taken a hit early on, so when the current Volvo buckets (mounted on stock seat frames) went in all factory holes were used. I hate the lap belts, and picked up a pair of fake leather reclining attached shoulder belt buckets out of a 97 Chrysler Sebring convertible. The framework on these seats is hard to work with, but I decided to make pedestals for the front with a cross bar under the leading edge of the seat-all this goes into factory front holes. In the rear of the seats I'm making brackets that route the bolts to the vertical part between the bed and front floorboards. Theres enough room to make a pattern fit large washer for the underside (backside of that leading edge) which is where the factory lap belts more or less mount. I dont have them fully installed yet or I'd have solid pics. I grabbed my buckets from a Pick A Part for ~75 total, went with them over modern truck seats because I'm tall, and want the seats mounted lower and farther back than normal people.

In the back, I plan on running a minivan 2nd or 3rd row seat, whichever fits the width better. Welding the pockets the van uses to mount the seats should be a smaller and simpler job than the link you put up of the floor section being swapped out. Then I can have the dual handle release of the whole back seat and onto its rollers for quick removal. With any luck, I'll find a late 90's van with vinyl seats that'll almost match my buckets.

I ended up opting for these brackets instead of cutting in a floor section. Just need to get these things installed now! Still need to pull the front seats and work up installing the Silverado seats as well.

Blazer is coming along.. and on the road again!

Replaced a lot in the engine bay, new carb, new intake, new air cleaner, new plugs/cables, all new hoses, new poly tank is installed as well.

Just ordered the Dorman exhaust manifolds and when they come in, I'm planning on replacing the entire exhaust at that point. I'm opting to keep the tranny for now as it is running just fine and I can tolerate the leaks and then use the money I had for that for a lot more things. More than likely a new wiring harness is in the cards as the wiring is poor and I have a battery drain coming from somewhere.

Woo hoo! New parts! Next come the exhaust. Decided to go with Magnaflow mufflers. I will probably keep the ends concealed and angle them behind the rear bumper.

Haha I'm pretty sold on getting one after reading your thread. My hard top is in rough shape so I'm pretty certain I'm getting one. It won't be right away though since I'm taking care of all the mechanical stuff at the moment. I'm probably going to end up doing the wiring harness next. I'm a little intimidated by it but I know it's in bad shape and needs it. I work in telecommunications/VoIP so I'm hoping the wiring knowledge I have from that is enough to knock that project out.

I honestly haven't decided that part of it as of yet. I have true dual from the PO right now but I was going to look into the other options and talk about them with my shop. I have been looking a little into the X-pipe and H-pipe as well as the Y pipe and have seen opinions all over the place as far as what is the best route to take. I have also seen a lot of comments of there not being space for the X-pipe or that going that route will have it hang too low.

So I am going to do some more research and talk it over with the shop and see what suggestions they have as well and figure it out from there.

Magnaflow has a 2 into one muffler (p/n 12588) that they use on the Escalade with the 6.0L.... dual 2.5" inlet and single 3" out... This is the route I'm planning. I hope to drive the truck alot so a quiet performance exhausst is what i'm looking for ... listen to it HERE under the 03-06 Escalade

Just curious if you installed your rear seat brackets and seats. I installed a set of the same brackets and 2010 Tahoe 3rd row seats, and I'm getting a really loud vibration from the seats when I'm idling in gear. I haven't been able to find a solution yet, but was curious if you have run into the same issue?
