Re: Classic Parts vs LMC, Brothers, Ecklers, Manes
Try Jegs or Summit Racing. Free shipping on parts over $100. You will be surprised of what vendors they use; CPP, Classic Instruments, etc.

Re: Classic Parts vs LMC, Brothers, Ecklers, Manes
Everybody pretty much sells the same offshore junk. Crappy re-pop parts have been the most frustrating part of my build. Can't afford (or find) NOS. The copied stuff rarely fits correctly.
I expect its the same for all the musclecar guys too. I didn't remember stuff being this lousy when I was tinkering with a 67 camaro 20 yrs ago though.

Re: Classic Parts vs LMC, Brothers, Ecklers, Manes
It would be great if more vendors on this board would chime in on these types of threads.
I would like to hear their response to the overwhelming consensus that body panels and doors poor quality and why that can not improve. Personally, I'd pay more to have a quality door or panel that fits like oem. Is it that difficult to get body panels and doors made correctly? Also, how can so many different vendors claim to have superior parts when all the vendors are getting the same parts from a couple overseas suppliers? |
