My 66 in work truck, still need to drop the front about 2-3 inches, not driven daily but still get a lot of use and a lot of fun.

I always liked those rear fenders on these trucks. They look like what should have come with this body style to begin with.

Well I put a nice big C notch in my rear frame that I built but it looks like the top of the tire is going to hit the fender before it gets to the ground. However I don't have the steps on yet. How much do those add to the front tip?

Sorry i didnt mean to jack slammed66..

I set mine up to where the tires will still barely roll and touch the fenders just in case something happens. Not sure what you mean about the front tip.?

Re: Post your 1960-66 STEPSIDES

Hmm maybe I won't have to modify my fender then. I was under the assumption that you had to add a filler pannel to the front lower tip of the fender to get it to lay on the ground. Thanks man!

Also sorry to thread jack! Here is a picture of mine. Not even close to being done tho.

You can do that if you want it to drag but depends on the tire size you run too, i could put 15's on it and drag it all over town. I didnt want to drag mine around so that as low as im going

Good looking truck chevy fleetside
