Why doesn't someone do a test so there's a definitive answer? Take a length of wire and make a few soldered connections. Then take a length and make crimped and another with wire nuts. Connect them to power, measure the output and you'll see how much resistance you have.

Speaking as a licensed master journeyman electrician , I have found that wirenuts work extremely well on stranded wire if properly installed.(in commercial and residential applications)
For automotive use --solder and heat shrink rules the options
