I had finished welding early so i was thinking that i would build a cool shifter that nobody would have so this is what i came up up with.I figure i would post on here too since there are two threads!!

Its on a different shifter now, but the knob is the same. Very similar in color to Marke's but mine is made by Epco, a maker of industrial knobs and stuff, they happen to make a few for hot rods etc, and can be bored to any size for no charge. \

Later when I get a lock-out kit for my shifter I will change it out but for now I have this one from Lokar.

I made a couple from old trees in my yard. I don't have a lathe so I used my drill press and a belt sander. I tried to use wood with some interesting defects, I didn't put any kind of finish on it, it feels comfortable in your hand.
