Re: Project BACK IN BLACK

So why did you decided to go with satin black instead of gloss? How's the upkeep on it?

My truck sits outside 24/7, so I decided I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a paint job until I have another garage or a shop to park it in, but I needed to fix the rust before it got to the point where the truck wasn't worth fixing. I wasn't really sure how I'd like the satin black, as I'm usually not one to follow the latest fad......but I'm really digging it! It's been very durable so far, and upkeep is no different than any other black vehicle I've owned....dust shows up instantly, but it's quite a bit less noticeable than on gloss!
