Re: Your Favorite 67-72
Dang it 67cheby, you beat me to Accu-air's '68! So many to choose from though. The other one I am really digging is Holley's shop truck. Never was a huge fan of that color, but everything about that truck is so right dead on to me. A perfect mix of classic with modern touches. Nothing too over the top. Love it.

Oh, and of course Benny's 72. I think this truck is what first made me say "I want one of those trucks!".

Re: Your Favorite 67-72
Hey Trevor you know we have several 72 BB 2wd but our next project will be a 72 cheyenne super swb 4x4 all correct and original then some time in the next decade we will do a 72 2wd blazer and we will probably change from our purist attitude and put a BB in it.

Re: Your Favorite 67-72
The two combinations are my faves:
67 68 grill and lower hood combination and with a short stepside box, be it 1/2 or 3/4T 4X4. Running a very close second is the 72 grill and tall hood. I would love to have an extended cab of about 1' on my truck and just shorten the bed a little.

Re: Your Favorite 67-72
To many to choose from because the 67-72 design is a timeless design. They are all sweet. It can be a work truck or a trailer king...I like them all. Thats my story and I am sticking with it.

Re: Your Favorite 67-72
This is my favorite right now because it's mine and its the first time I painted a truck, first time I painted any vehicle! I had been looking for years to find a nice Blazer to restore but couldnt find one for the right price. I ended up buy this 72 GMC last Nov and spent all last winter doing body work and painting. I replaced everything that is bolted or screwed on, the entire interior is new as well. Underneath all the brown paint and red primer in the two before pics was nothing but Bondo! I filled a five gallon bucket with all the Bondo I knocked off of it. Its just like driving a new truck! I have a 69 C 10 that my grandfather gave me, I had it painted by a small body shop about 12 years ago, he did a horrible job and charged me way to much. I am going to repaint it as soon as I get some ambition, it's the one in my avatar with my home built teardrop behind it. Anyway, until I find a decent K/5 to rebuild, my GMC is my favorite truck!

The black truck above with the for sale sign has an awesome hood! I really like how they sectioned the front, looks like a lot of work.
