Re: 57 panel
The 57 GMC fender is shaped different around the grille area to accommodate for the big GMC moustache bar. I am looking for a passanger side fender for my Dad's 57 GMC...that's how i know.

Re: 57 panel
The only part that I need that is panel only is the bottom of one of the rear doors. The rest of the parts I need are shared with the truck. I'm pretty lucky, the body is in pretty good shape.

Re: 57 panel
Now that's a nice ride! It definitely looks better IMO than the chevy counterpart.

Re: 57 panel
No, it is not stock. It is an Olive Drab. I struggled for a while deciding on a color. It is something I did not want to do twice.

Re: 57 panel
My wife is glad it's done. I put everything else off to keep working on the truck. Now it's payback time around the house. The transfer case is a 205.

Re: 57 panel
Yes, the spring pads were cut and remounted with the pinion pointing towards the transfer case. I also dropped the transmission crossmember down to help to help the drive shaft angel. Im sorry I don't remember the angle. I will check it and repost.

Re: 57 panel
Hey Bartsim, How about posting up some new pics of your panel? Also, what motor is in it? and did you sit the panel on a newer truck frame?
