Re: New to the forum
Well the 5.7 rods didn't work they hit the counter weight on my SCAT crank
So called up my machinist and he ordered new 6in rods and pistons to accept the longer rods. Another delay....

Re: New to the forum
Thanks for the support its been a long process. I parked it in June of 2002. it sat untouched for 4 yrs. Then I got a wild hair up my keester and tore it all the way down to the frame in a couple days. Then I looked at what I had done
What the hell was I thinking!!! Then after sitting for another 3yrs, while I tried to fund my motor build and not having any time to work on my truck from working 70-80hrs a week in the Oil and Gas Fields of western Colorado. Then as luck would have it the economy went belly up and there was not enough work to go around. Got laid off in Feb of 09 tried to find work with no luck. Left for The United States Air Force in the beginning of May 09. After finishing Basic Training and Tech school in Nov I had 14 days to drive 10hrs home sand blast and paint the frame, reassemble the truck back to a rolling chassis and pack up my entire house, my wife and my kids. Got it all done thanks to a couple friends and my family. Here it is in the garage right after the move

Re: New to the forum
Gave my self a little inspiration last night. Take that procrastination! Got a friend coming over tonight to help me push it out of the garage, wash it, paint a little, put the rest of the front end on and clean up the shop. Looks great with the tire all tucked up in the wheel well again. Definitely going to have to go with a shorter tire.
