I see you got the same bullet lug nuts on your wheels like mine. I always thought they look cool and everybody who see's them likes them. There is a guy who shaves the tires out here with some old custom machine that lays on the ground and he jacks up the vehicle for the tire to spin. I bought my tires like this but I'm gonna have them shaved wider. Here are some older pics of my truck with the new shoes.

Re: shaved whitewalls

When I use to work on the used car lot , there was a couple of guys that would pinstripe the cars on the lot for us , but also did the buffing of the sidewalls for the white wall effect .. I would check with some of the tire shops , used car lots , someone has to know someone .. Good Luck !!!!

Re: shaved whitewalls

i tried a set of porta-walls awhile back on my 54 ford had three tire shops put them on but all three tire shops couldnt get them to seal right, and two shops wouldnt mess with them, so i didnt have any luck with them, might have to find a old timer who nows how to get them to work.....

Re: shaved whitewalls

Anyone know of a shop in the Reno/Sparks Nv area that does a good job with shaving and buffing tires like this?
