Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
Thought I made a post here, but here goes. Sorry if its a repeat.
What about the steering column, and clutch and brake pedal setup? Does the truck have the z-bar stuff for the clutch pedal too? I'm in Austin and can come over and pull. Available most times as I'm semi-retired |

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
The z-bar is a name for the bar that the pushrod from the clutch pedal goes to. Usually mounted to the chassis on driver's side of engine right above oil filter. Another pushrod goes from the z-bar to the clutch lever on the bellhousing.
$40 sounds good and I'll be glad to pull. This week is busy, is next week open? |

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
I keep looking at it and trying to come up with a way that doesn't involve ruining the bracket or the axle. I have yet to think of one... ideas?

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
You said you had a rollpan. Will it fit 68 stepside?
Do you have title for truck? |

No title, and the roll pan I have is for a fleetside.

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
I will dig it out and take a pic. IIRC it is in kinda rough shape. One of the POs painted the entire cab black, with spray paint. I also have a green one out of my Cheyenne laying around somewhere that is in great shape. I'll see what I can find this weekend.

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
No rust other than surface on either fender. Passenger side needs work to both the lower front cup and the rear lower section from dents.
Still not looking to ship at the moment. I will PM you if I come around on that.

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
Cab is sold pending pickup this weekend. I'll pull the mirror and try to get the pedals/steering column out in the morning before it rolls out on his trailer.

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
Down to a "Rolling Chasis" - Engine, Transmission and full running gear (Axles, wheels, suspension, etc). - $300
Also have two grills for sale now too. No rush through on either grill, complete with inner grill pieces. Surface rust only. Each have dents, the nicer only has one and I am asking $90 OBO. Other has I believe only 2 maybe 3 dents. Asking $75 obo. Updated pictures: http://gallery.me.com/tmwoodall#1000...r=black&sel=31

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
P.S. I haven't forgotten about the brake holder request, rear view mirror, and glove box door. All but brake line retainer have been pulled just haven't found the time/materials to box them up.

Re: Parting out 67 SWB Roller
What is the condition of the rear axle? Do you know what gear ratio it is?
