Re: This look any better?!?
Good decision. I'd leave everything just the way it is.

Re: This look any better?!?
night and day difference!! Even for being small 18'', they make the truck look aggressive, like a muscle truck should look. I'm personally a fan of the taller rear tires... gives it that sweeeet rake!!!

Re: This look any better?!?
Thanks for confirming my own thoughts guys!!
I seriously hated the chrome 22's from the beginning. Now all I need is one seriously high person who does like em and wants to pay me enough to take em off my hands Think the rear looks a bit funky now with the silver drums, but I'll paint the drums black soon as I can. Didn't have the patience to paint em first....I wanted to see the wheels on my truck!!!! Thought about 20's too, but I personally get really annoyed with the dull finish on the polished wheels. No one had the grey spokes 5x5 20"s in stock...heck I'm lucky as can be with these 18"s, they give me a bit more sidewall... On a sidenote; these rear and sidemarker lights have really grown on me by now. Haven't seen any other square around here at all with similar lights. That's doesn't make me like all the euro lights out there, but these are okay on this truck and they go along with it's style. Need to make some decent interior pics one of these days. Here's a bit...

Re: This look any better?!?
Steering wheel is also on the "to do" list.....(as is polished billet dash panels, stereo, engine and trans service, Dakota Digital VHX gauges as soon as they start making them and oh yeah; getting the truck inspected, tested and licensed!!!)
I'll problably be going for a polished 3 or 4 polished spoke with full black leather wrap wheel. Le Carra or Grant, not sure which one just yet...... And oh yeah, need to fix my Pontiacs too! Got nothing up and running right now!!

Re: This look any better?!?
I really like the new wheels. They look better in your application,
Although, guys don't hate me for this, but I kinda liked the 22s. Not necessarily on your truck, maybe on a brighter colored truck or a bagged truck. Do you have any info on the old wheels? How much you want for them? Lol Ps your truck looks pretty sweet though. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: This look any better?!?
Don't have much info on them.
Center cap says "DAKAR" They're 22x9 around 5.75 backspace on the fronts Rears are 22x10 around +/- 6,xx backspace (1.1/4 spacers adapters were used to mount them) Could never ever sell them to you; shipping these heavy mothers back over the Atlantic would cost a small fortune for sure!!!!! Don't know if you have to pay import duties and tax too. I know I'd have to; everytime and with everything I buy overseas I'm fXXXed!!! Just have to find someone here in Europe who likes em, but I haven't even tried yet. Got to post some classifieds ads one of these days...

Re: This look any better?!?
I just looked them up and they are Dakar Zealous rims. $2400 US new with tires, without shipping. A little too pricey for my tastes. Haha
I didn't even realize you were not in America. That just shows how I much I pay attention. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: This look any better?!?
It does look alot better, You mentioned you like the tails and side markers. However, I think the truck would look better with stock lights. The lights on there now went well with the 22s, the 18s have a little more of a classic look to them. I personally think stock lights would look better. Your truck though

Re: This look any better?!?
Even though i switched my racelines from 22s to 20s i think had you had a nicer looking wheel in the 22 might have made a difference. The 18s look nice but now you need to bring it down some more. This is just my opinon not telling you what to do.

I agree. The change in style helped you more than the size. Looks a lot better though.
