There is a lot about this truck that screams "RUN AWAY". If you only have $2k to spend on a project then this one is not for you. There are a few aftermarket items added and you can see the truck has been abused. Note the ball on the rear bumper, it's bent down. Why is the rear tire bead completely off? You need to inspect the cab floor....under the carpet. You may spend $2000 to get it to run half decent but you'll always be spending $2000 here and $2000 there.

You would really need to see that truck inspected for the normal rust areas, and the PO might have covered those trouble areas up.
