Afraid if you painted it white you'd lose it? Maybe you should paint the roof bright orange or red, so you can find it easier during the winter.

Re: 1984 K20 6.2L suburban, project "Smokey the 'Burb"

I've got a stock 2wd pickup right now but eventually I wanna get some tires not quite as big as yours but bigger than what I have. My plan right now is to add another leaf or 2 in the rear and get maybe some 31s or so.

Looks like another great project. Tough is another good description. Love those meaty tires.

Thanks Mike!

I gave the keys to this Burb to my oldest, Zack, for his birthday.
He knows it technically isn't his, he just has usage rights
He was pretty stoked, but I think it needs glow plugs. He asked how much they are, I told him @$60 then he was bummed

Back from oblivion!

I drug up a parts rig...
I have big plans to combine it with the Burb.
It will probably be slow going though so don't expect too much

Tha axles are going under the Burb and the cab is replacing the rusty Burb body.
I'm planning on running stock H1 beadlocks and 40"-ish tires.

With a small flat bed? That would be awesome.
