Nate's truck is badass! But its an honor for lmc to have his truck on the cover, not the other way around. I'll have to admit that I wouldve said no if there wasnt a paycheck involved(if I had Nate's truck).

Re: New 67-72 LMC Catelog- I know this truck!

They were shooting trucks on the spot at the all truck nats last year. They shot my old blue and white shortbed. As I was leaving the judging area, a guy stopped me and asked if he could, took a few pics and got some info. Then you just wait and see what comes from it.

Congrats Nate

I think I saw some on E-Bay already. Some guy named Peggy has them for sale at a great price of $100.00. Sounds like a steal to me.

Re: New 67-72 LMC Catelog- I know this truck!

Man guys... I am humbled by the reponses in this thread. Thanks so much!

Several of the posts above pretty well covered how this took place. I happened to be at the Midwest All Truck Nat's last year and LMC was at the end of the judging line taking shots of trucks after they finished being judged. Around late April/early May I got a call from LMC asking if I would consider letting them shoot my truck for the cover, and needless to say I didn't think twice about it.

After I arrived there that morning I was treated to a tour of their vehicle holding facility which stores probably 75-100 cars, trucks, and SUV's for their various parts cataloges. As I walked through this massive two-story building (with it's own automobile elevator) I started picking out trucks that I have seen in previous issues.

The entire process was a great experience and I feel honored to be on the cover. Signed copies are available for $... haha, just kidding guys!

Thanks again, and thanks to Keith for posting this thread; he's a good friend.

I'll be adding some more pictures to my build thread showing some of the photoshoot itself. It was a really neat process and quite professional.

Congrats Nate! Your truck is awesome and it is well deserved. I would be honored by something like this and wouldn't even think of asking them for money; the exposure and props are payment enough. Great Job Man!

Congrats.

Impress the right folks at the right show at the right time.

It was stated at the show several thousand pics were taken at the show over what the sponsored club did and some special invites for pics for only a dozen or so out of all of them.
