Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
It's hard to tell from the pictures so I'll just ask...Is the only difference between the standard and deluxe '66 wheel, the horn cap/ring?

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
I'll have to find one and scan it, or take a fresh one tomorrow, but yes, my pleasure.

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
The steering wheel itself is different. The custom horn ring wont fit a standard wheel. I looked a while to find a steering wheel with the stainless steel rings so I can do a 2 tone wheel.

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
My '65 Custom has the same wheel and ring as my '60 Parkwood wagon (Bel Air trim level). Both wheels are original to their vehicles.

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
yes other chevy wheels will swap,i had a wheel off a biscayne on my 65, and now have a chevy 2 on my 66, as long as they have the same spline's as the steering coloum.

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
Part of the Custom Appearance Option on Chevrolet's. Looked in my scans there's no referral to a Custom Cab option. Thank's for teaching me something .

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
Thank you! After reading this, I took a closer look at my wheel and noticed that it is, in fact, the deluxe wheel. It's just that the "arms" and half circle part, which attaches to the center cap, has been broken off. I guess I just need to find that piece.

Re: Custom Cab Steering Wheel
The horn ring is different for the '66 than prior year models. Mine came off a Nova
