These wheel and tires won't actually be staying on this truck. I borowed them to roll it around and see how it looked. I think i will end up going with the 37's cause there is plenty of room, but we'll see how the funds fall and whats available at the time.

It really needs differnt doors, but other than that i think its going to look pretty good

So its been a while since i posted on here. I didn't get nearly as much done as i wanted over my christmas break thanks to working all the time. I did mangae to get the truck back inside and started making motor mounts. Its also nice being back at school where i can design things in solidworks haha. Heres a couple of my prints for the mounts. They are just rough drawings not exact dimensions at this point.

I didn't have a camera with me this weekend, but i did finally manage to get motor mounts made and i started on the front cross member. Hopefully next weekend i can get both crossmembers finished up and start on the trnny crossmember and maybe some of the small stuff.

Looks good, im building almost the same truck. mine also stated as a 2 wheel drive dually. Your a couple weeks father along than my build. You should check it out.

ill sure be watching this, maybe you can save me from having do anything twice. BTW im using the medium duty front motor mount to leave more room for a compound setup in the future.

This truck has been in quite hiatus for a while now and with the warm weather finally coming, and me needing a heavier truck to support my other projects, I think it's time to get back on this one. I'm going to round up some steel either from work or the local welding shop and attempt to redo my motor mounts this weekend I hope. Here's a pic of how she has sat for the last 4 months.

subscribed. I've got a 76 regular cab long bed C25 camper special. All original no rust 2wd from SoCal...was my grandfathers (he bought new). Am seriously considering a 4x4 and Cummins swap.

Now I see the 4 door and think.....dang!

So much for getting back at it. Haven't got much done lately between weddings, the fiance being home( which was a good thing), and the weather. However I have managed to score some parts for the truck. I picked up a 78 3/4 ton frame so I could get the correct spring perches off of it and some other brackets. Also picked up a 93 dodge 1 ton 4x4 with a cummins and a 5 speed for a drive line transplant. Lastly I bought a really nice factory tach cluster of here for it. Now just waiting for a weekend with no rain forecasted to get the dodge tore apart and start rebuilding the front on the chevy.

Brent - All that will be left is the bare cab and frame as I am keeping or selling everything else. There is no title with this truck and the bdy is rough. I guess if he's interested thats fine, if not it will be cut up for scrap. Let me know.
