Re: Restored woodgrain panels
ttt....ebay monday if not sold here
I am taking a loss after shipping for these panels guys....I used super nice originals w/out dents or scratches to get recovered and was charged for the labor and materials to professionally recover them...

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
This may be a dumb question but is the glove box woodgrain panel affixed or loose and could be installed on a glovebox of a different color? I need to stick with a black glovebox. Thanks, Pete

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
The glovebox panel is attached factory with a glue that looks like liquid nails. I attach them with double stick tape. The only thing you'll have to do is put it on then drill three shallow holes in your door to allow the emblem to mount. (not entirely through the door of course )

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
I am sorry, I forgot to call today. Putting a reminder in my phone now. So are you still wanting the matching woodgrain panel with the emblem...just not the actual glovebox door?

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
Yes - curious if the matching woodgrain glovebox panel is loose so can be placed on one of my black super doors. I don't need another door or emblem. Thanks for the follow-up.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
CSM shipped the panel out Thursday. I should have it tomorrow and will take a picture. I'll take $50 off the package price w/out the emblem or door.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
Are these these woodgrained stickers that you can buy at various places or are these similar to the original appliques?

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
This is NOS dynaloc material that he applies. It is what would have been used on the woodgrain moldings. The original appliques were a water/screen printed type procedure on the glovebox door and the door panels. The bezel had a thin plastic like piece with the woodgrain again applied to that. It is MUCH nicer than the woodgrain appliques available....especially on the bezel (they never fit) and of course you can't get appliques to match for the door panels and these all match perfectly. The outside trim piece on the glovebox door and around the door panels were polished to show quality shine.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
Great looking pieces. Wish the GB panel was loose. Mulling it over. Thanks, Pete

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
the glovebox panel is loose. The emblem is just sitting loosely in the holes and he didn't attach the panel to the door.
