Re: Two Ks in BBQ

Driven and worked. He had just hauled some body parts for his Panel up to the body shop and I had just unloaded 16' 2x2s off the rack at my job. I have been restoring,customizing,modifying,and/or just fixing up these trucks real pretty for a long time. But,now that about all you see are garage queens I'm kinda going the other way. Something about just a good old truck to drive around is a great feeling. I hope to make this one nice,of course, one day. In the mean time I just use it,which I'll still do once that happens. I've always treated my trucks with care no matter the age or condition.

Yeah Bill, that's just what you need. One just like that.

Man,I'm gettin' a hankerin' for more BBQ

Re: Two Ks in BBQ

Only thing missing from that picture is a K20 burb!

That had to have been the best way to finish of the day for both of you guys, BBQ and a few cold ones with the smell of an old truck warming up.

It sure did get cold! That's Canada being overly generous with their air...brrr. It like their dry seasoning, then I put sauce on it as I eat it. Yeah,"some" Ravens fans can "maybe" be "sorta" ok "sometimes" They finally beat our good old team the Colts since Clayton Manning is out. That outta make 'em friendly.

Yeah,YOURS! I wish I did have a K/20 Burb. Always been on the list. That rain came in light and that was the last of our warm days (60s). The next day the rain got harder and harder by evening and temp dropped enough it was supposed to snow a few inches. Fortunately the precip ended earlier than expected. But,Mama, she's a cold'n round here now. Not awful but sure not used to it,yet. It got down to 18 Sunday night. I need more BBQ now!

Re: Two Ks in BBQ

It makes a great cold left over breakfast. I make a spicy stew in the crock pot. I make it good and thick. I love making a stew sandwich with the left overs.
Hey,I guess by the title this is a thread about KKQ?

All I know is people cringe when you talk about navel piercings there. Everyone thinks you're talking about a stabbing.

I survived Happy Harbor food. I was surprised they don't offer crab cakes, though. I suggested it more for the good old Chesapeake Bay atmosphere...ambiance if you will.

I used to live in the area where this Urban BBQ is (it's not urban,BTW) when I was a kid. I moved away in '69. My girlfriend is a girl I went to school with back then that I bumped into in Jan '10 after all those years. There is going to be a Christmas gathering of alumni of Sherwood HS there on Saturday night. What a coincidence. If I know anyone it will be from 8th grade or earlier. Gonna be an experience.

Both trucks are nice. I always liked that GMC of yours. I think you had aluminum slots on it the last time I saw it.
