Got trucks horn working today. New batt installed and test drove with rebuilt carb. Ran good. It has pretty good power i guess. I am used to driving my burb tho. It will spin the rear tire tho. Also installed and bled master cylinder. Then went and got some new tires. Managed to mess up 1 stud somehow removing the nut. Had to break the stud. I am not sure how it happened. I had just installed the wheels sunday. I know i didnt mess up the threads going back on with nut then so not sure why it messed up coming out. So i now have to add a rear stud to parts list....

Well i tryed to get it inspected last week and it failed for loose turn signals and hi beem. The grill was busted and the wronge year so had to order a new billit grille. Not exactly what we wanted but looks ok and was cheap. Also got new headlight screw assembleys and vent window lock.

My girl likes trucks too. She wanted a 1970 Ford for some reason. Well, we can't have that !!! Im on the look out for a 87' 1/2 ton lwb for her now. Im an 87' guy all day. Truck looks good!!! Just needed some TLC.

Yes the previous owners have not taken care of it at all. I have had to redo the breaks in rear, rebuild the carb, fix lights, un-redneck the cluster, replace the front windshild, put new tireson, and that was what it took to pass inspection. Still need to rebuild the front end and figure out the drive train. The "freshly rebuilt" motor is loosing oil psi rapidly. I knew that the motor was a lie due to the oil leaks it had. Now to find a 5.3 to swap in....

Well we just lowered the back of the truck. It was sitting 32 5/8 and 32 7/8. Now it is 30 3/4 and 30 1/2. Cost was 0 bucks. If you dont count the jack stands i had to buy. Revmoved the over load and the middle leaf. It had 5 now it has 3. Rids great. It has 1/8 inch rake with the front being lower. Rides amazing. Nice and smooth. Need to rebuild the front and lower it then the 5.3 swap will be started. Nevermind the big ummmm flying sauser in one of them. The last on is how we got it.
