Re: Fire & Rescue Picture Thread
Love those pics, what a great collection. Back in the day, some of the 1/2 and 3/4 4WD trucks owned by various fire departments were referred to as the "brush truck" or "BT 1", meaning brush fire application.

Re: Fire & Rescue Picture Thread
This was on Craigslist a while back.
1972 Chevy C-30 2,561 original miles. This is what the ad said, This this truck is in amazing condition w/ only 2,561 miles since new! This truck still has the original paint, and tires. The truck is powered by a 250 straight 6, 4 speed top loader transmission, and 456:1 rearend gear ratio. It also has front power disc brakes. This truck runs and drives beautifully. If you have any further questions about the truck feel free to ask, and I will return an answer the same day. $15,000

Re: Fire & Rescue Picture Thread
that's a nice flatbed. It doesn't look like a lot of fixtures were mounted to the cab.

Here's one I had a few years ago. It is a 1970 9ft. step Custom Camper 30 with 402/TH400, power steering, power brakes and NoSpin.
