The benefit of the really cold air would probably not make a difference considering you are now using engine power to turn the A/C compressor.
Now for a really wild idea I was wondering how long it would take someone to rig up an inverter and put a big electric blower on their car. Wouldn't think the draw from an alternator would be too much and you'd be able to use a reostat inside the vehicle to adjust your boost.

Hey guys, those thoughts of the a/c being used for cold air induction aren't too crazy. F**d is putting an a/c condensor to the intercooler on the 04 Lightning's so when under boost, it cools the intake charge considerably. It's supposed to work for like 20-30 second increments before re-charging (which is oddly just long enough to make a quater mile pass).
