Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
I think my favorite on my 68 would be the shaved drip rail:
So many other things are "nice" but for the most part they're just bought parts. You can't buy a shaved drip rail...and I did it myself. |

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
My favorite part today is this one. But it's UNDER the truck. Why the "favorite"?
'Cause it isn't wet. No brake fluid, no coolant, no gasoline, no oil, no power steering fluid, no trans fluid. Knock on wood. But I shouldn't have to....

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
on my 67, i would say the horn cap. to look at it and see it shine and glisen in the sunlight. and to think how many other proud 67 chevy truck owners seen that same horn cap from when that one truck was theres, and how they,ve all looked at it. plus the CST 67 68 horn caps are just beautiful.

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
I know a lot of people don't like it, but shifting a 3OTT is timeless to me.. I had never owned or driven one till I bought my black truck a while back but man I love it. There is so much personality to the truck and you actually drive it rather than just pushing the pedal. I love the sound of one being driven and tractored around like a papaw (just the way I drive)

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
well, the easiest pic to upload is the engine...
so the too-heavy, gas-sucking V6 is my favorite part of the truck. |

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
Thanks for the compliment 69GWC. It's a Bruce Horkey "Show Deck" on top of the steel bed. The wood is Carolina Ash with two coats Minwax "Medium Oak" Stain and 4 coats of Marine Spar Varnish. Worth every dime.

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
Sittn in the driver seat, checking out the interior. Wheel, dash, gauges, shifters on my 68 make me giddy. And you can't beat the front slope of the hood matched that grill!

Re: Whats your favorite part of your truck?
My truck is far from a show stopper ( so many beautiful trucks on here ) but it seems to get alot of attention while driving around and I think that that is my favorite part. It doesn't seem to matter how bad of shape these trucks are in, people still like to see them cruising around.
