Re: WTB: Weld Racing Outbacks

Back from the dead, not sure if you are still looking, but a guy in a local FB group is selling a set of the Centerline versions for $200?
Not sure how I even remember this?!?

Re: WTB: Weld Racing Outbacks

Because you liked Outbacks, too? Great memory. Who was it that was looking for those anyway? Was it me?

I would buy those right up if I was out there and not back here. A $300 set like that can get salty by the time shipping cost is added. I appreciate you thinking of this for sure. I don't need them too bad, but to find good looking wheels is hard and one day I'll have a need. They look a lot like Ford wheels. I ended up taking the Outbacks to the swap meet I go to every summer to sell. I had more guys think those were what they had on their Ford. Really? Yeah, they look very similar...except the outbacks had 6 slots! I'd tell them that and they'd go, "Oh yeah, you're right". Funny, I hope all Ford guys aren't that dense It took a few years, but last summer they sold. I thought to save them and build a pickup bed trailer to use them with, but gone now. Everyone asked if I had the other two. I'd tell people, for the cheap price I was asking who cares on a trail rig or rock crawler. They are drop forged 3500# capacity badass wheels that are light. So what if they don't match the other pair. Run beadlocks, and get them muddy and they'll look perfect!
