Re: what would you choose?
I have to go with the truck. My dad had a 64 elky for 20 years and couldn't get rid of the Cancer it had in the rear quarter panels. Plus there are way more restoration parts for the truck. I like the idea of keeping them both though

Re: what would you choose?
The bottom line is pickups are more plentiful. I don't know squat for particulars about either of your two rides, but if both were in similar shape the EC would be more difficult to replace. Having said that, I love your truck just the way it is. The elky however needs some love. Oh yeah, by the way wifey's gonna need a traffic proof, A/C havin' travel capsule for the 405 out here.. keep the Expedition.

Re: what would you choose?
Funny, i have them both too. Bought the elcamino for its 350/350t, disk brakes, and rear end for my 62 stepside. Took it for a test drive and didnt have the heart to strip it and send it to the scrap yard (its all original with a lil over 100,000mi on it. But wouldnt think twice about which one to sell, elcamino would have to go. Love my truck - parts are more common and cheaper and the suspension is better for hauling and offroad stuff.(my opinion)

Re: what would you choose?
First ,my wife loves my 72 El Camino SS and she would never let me sell it so some women do like Elky's ,she feels the same way about my trucks .I would find someone to store it(the Camino) here in Ga until you decide which way to go .If you decide to sell the El Camino advertise it on Team Chevelle and Chevelleforum.net ,both are free .Good luck on whichever one you sell ,just know the market sux right now if youre the seller .I just sold my 55 Bel Air 2 dr hardtop for almost 1/3 what I had in it but I was tired of it just sitting there getting neglected as I never drove it .

Re: what would you choose?
Back in the 80's I predicted that El Camino's would be worth a fortune one day. I always thought that, because there weren't many around that weren't beat up because most were used by contractor owners/supervisors when new.
But, I was wrong. They seem to be worth less than their Chevelle brothers are for some reason. Maybe the broad appeal just isn't there? I like El Camino's but I'd keep the truck just because you can't find any of the unique El Camino parts aftermarket, only the ones that are common to the Chevelle/Malibu. If you were ever to get in a rear-end collision you'd be SOL.

Re: what would you choose?
My 2 Cents...You are moving where the older trucks with good sheet metal are available...You may find the truck you have always wanted..I like the BBW..with custom trim...Good luck and Happy Trails.

Re: what would you choose?
Thank you, I'm sure I'll still be around. I still love looking at the trucks regardless whether I have one or not. Also alot of the information here applies to cars and truck in general since many here have more that just C10's.I have made some good friends here. I also want to check out the C10's in CA that I see here all the time. And meet them live and in person. Appears there are plenty of shows other than just c10 meets everyone goes to. So I will definitely look out for you in the Elky. The folks here are just good people.I will still have this in common regardless.

I love El Caminos, but I like the '66 thru '72 body styles. Tough call on which one to keep. Good Luck! If you brought your '66 out here to California, people would stop in their tracks and make offers to buy it. I'm 100% serious......

Re: what would you choose?
I would think long and hard about keeping either. IMO for whatever you can sell your truck for in GA, you will find an equal or better truck in California. The big difference will be that you didn't have to move the truck with you.
Edit: now I see you have the truck for sale, but the same goes for either vehicle.

Re: what would you choose?
You guys are funny. Every woman I've ever dated has given me the dirtiest look when I mention my El Camino fetish. The idea get's shut down real quick. I'd say keep the truck as I always found Elky's were easier to find in California.

Re: what would you choose?
I'm not biased, I'm experienced!
I'd dump the Camino in a heartbeat if you can find someone to buy it. I've driven both that and a rancher-roo (ranchero). They're just an eyesore to 99% of the population. For the other 1% they'll look at you like you're driving their grandpa around or they'll ask you how much for a dime bag. There's nothing classy about a Camino in my experience. Now a classic truck, that's another story.

Re: what would you choose?
el minero,
Couldn't watch the video. Stuck in some third world dump and the internet doesn't play videos. What is it? Sounds good and now I'm curious.

Re: what would you choose?
If you can hear the audio then the lyrics to the song go along with the El Camino stigma some women have. The artist is Elizabeth Cook.

Re: what would you choose?
Hahaha, funny to hear all the El Camino bashing after you made the decision to keep it and sell the truck. Don't despair, the El camino is poised to make a major charge in the collector car world, right along with the Corvair.
