Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
These are not stainless, they are painted metal and do not look like they are in good condition either. The glass is poor and there are spots that are rusty. I am not sure if they would be worth taking them out. Do you know how hard they are to get out of the door? The shipping is usually higher than normal also because of the size if the window run channel is attached like the 67-72 trucks are. If you are interested in one or both for $25.00 each plus shipping then I will get them out of the doors and try to get better pictures. Here are pictures of the left one. Let me know. Thanks

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Is the driver door fixable? Mine was hit by a tree at the mirror and pushed the tip of door in and bottom at handle. I would be interested in the door if not too much. Winchester, Va, 22602. Thanks, Jeremy

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
The door is very rusty and is rusted out along the bottom. I do not think it would even be worth the shipping cost. Sorry

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Are you meaning the harness that runs from the coil back into the cab? or the wire from the coil to the dist.? The wire from the coil to the inside looks good on the outside but at the connector on the inside of the cab 2 of the wires have been wired around the connector.

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Actually, the first pic helps me out with what I need to know. My wiring has been hacked up a little and I was hoping your truck would have a harness that was in better shape. Thanks for taking the pics.

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Are you parting out the engine? If so what size is it. I need a push rod for the 305 V6 in my 60 GMC. Thanks!

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
I am keeping the engine as a display engine so I might be able to sell the internal part but never really thought about it. I will not sell any visable/ external items. How can I tell what size it is?

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Right in front of the right head, should be a small flat area that should have the engine number on it. If it is the original engine, I think it will probably be the 305A.
This is from the 6066 GMC site. |

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Do you only want the pin? Here is the one out of this truck. Total length is 3 5/8" or from the head down it is 2 5/8" The pin does have some pitting. If it will work, $7.50 shipping USPS First Class Mail. Thanks

I can get pictures of the bracket that the pin goes into if you want. Maybe the bracket is bent different. Let me know. Thanks

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
It's ok, I totally forgot about this too...stumbled by looking for mirrors. Anyways, let me double check my engine, I'm pretty sure it's a 305.
