Re: Test Time ... Do you know?
I have thought about selling but as mentioned with all these flaws and this truck being made in China I don't think anyone would want to buy it

Re: Test Time ... Do you know?
Made in USA...Troy Mich.
This kit has box art,it's not a photograph,so it's just an artist's rendering of ways the kit could be built. It also has chrome smoothies. Neither truck is attempting to be a correct original, like the promo models. The west coast mirrors were a common accessory back then. It's also not an original factory color. I was always amazed at how accurate these models were made. Also,I give them credit for teaching me my first lessons in the anatomy of vehicles. I learned what a carb, starter, distributor, air cleaner, valve cover, oil pan,etc was and where they go. Learned about hot rod stuff, too.

Re: Test Time ... Do you know?
I kinda missed the whole idea to this test. I thought you were asking about the boo boos on the stock style truck not the baja... Cool model!! Like special k said, these helped me learn a lot about automobiles as a child.

Re: Test Time ... Do you know?
Well, since this thread and the F/S thread was started. It got me to looking for one of these model kits. Die hard fan of anything to do with these trucks. So, I spent the better part of 2 days looking for one on Ebay and Googling the hell out of them to find something that I thought was a reasonable price. My last search came up with a new Ebay add. And I was sold on it. $34.99 for this gem before shipping. Here's a pic, you all can tear into this one too.
