Re: Assistance on static drop pics/info

here are some pics of the front lowerd. the first is of when i installed the 2.5 spindles with one coil round cut (keep in mind that the driveway angle, on flat ground the rake would be more pronounced). the second ones are with the 2.5 spindles and 1.5 drop springs. i hope the springs settle a bit in a few weeks. if not i might cut a bit on the springs to lower the front just a bit more (1/2"). notice, on the front view, i still ahve the chevy lean on the driver side.

Re: Assistance on static drop pics/info

i would cut the coils 1/2' more, maybe even get some 2.5" drop springs (which would also probably solve the lean), and ditch the drop shackle/hangers for a flipkit

I installed 1.5 drop springs after I cut the stock springs and the lean is still there. The first pic above is where I cut my stock springs but was too low for me.

Give the new springs 1000 miles. They will settle a bit guaranteed.

My truck leans toward the drivers side also. I think it's pretty normal with these trucks!

I like the way yours looks with the 1.5 springs. It looks better than the cut ones did for sure!

Wish I wouldve got 1.5" instead of 2"

Turn your front plate upside down and that truck would look perfect! Boomer Sooner!

You're new front coils will settle in the next 1000 miles. I suspect your lean issue is uneven rear springs. Most old leaf springs settle differently over the years.
