Thanks for all the info! Your truck does pretty good mpg, If i can pull 10 or so I'll be happy. Also, My friend dd's a 69 camaro, and another friend dd's a 68 c10 lol We all enjoy old vehicles, a lot of people think we are crazy. But, oh well lol

Earlier I had mentioned using the MY6 or MM7 if he can find one. It seems to me it is a good compromise. The 80ish Dodge pickup I remember driving had one and it did well.

That bad? Its a only if I have too..
Its adequate. The truck drives fine. 1st is a little higher than a granny low. 2nd is ok. Big stretch between 2nd and 3rd. It sucks for performance though. Too much space between the ratios.

Plus I have a really hard time remembering the 1st is back and not up.
