Re: Dual Snorkel - First Build Thread OHH YEAH!!!
That's another reason why I have that issue, I've blocked the heat crossovers on my truck. The cold air intake just magnifies the problem if it's cold enough outside.
Not a big deal really, like you, I'm used to it. I run a 950HP on my chevelle as well, no choke, no heat crossover. |

Re: Dual Snorkel - First Build Thread OHH YEAH!!!
Yah thinkin of putting an annular carb on my truck as well or drilling the bottom of the boosters for more sheer effect. I'm hoping once all my carb experiments are done I can write a real good in depth thread on four barrels tunning and selection.
I wouldn't mind the performance of a dual snorkel/ram air again but I kinda love my 14 K&n haha. Getting ceramic headers will help the underhoid temps as well as cowl induction. Posted via Mobile Device

The front plate was punch out of the the core support and as it is now the passenger side has the baffled (stock) core support mount. The driver's side is just put into the hole in the core support, completely free flowing (except for the grill of course).

Don't forget the original Ram Air Box install from Mike!!
http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain/ram_air.htm I practically copied his setup for my ZZ4. I used a 81-82 bumper as intakes due to the 88-91 grill setup. |
