Re: 70 K20 Build in Alaska
It is starting to get dark around midnight, maybe a little earlier like you said. Winter is creeping! Front grille is in as well as some trim and glass. I will detail several pieces of trim and emblems over the winter.

Re: 70 K20 Build in Alaska
The seat and doors are all back together. You can also kind of see I went with a factory radio delete plate. I still have a new dash bezel and lens to put in. Also, have a new rubber mat, pedal covers, white arm rest and boots for the interior.

Re: 70 K20 Build in Alaska
Drove her for the first time in 6 months today. Still need to clean up my side trim, install the winch/winch bumper, rubber mat, dash bezel and a few other small details. Not sure if I want to run caps yet or not?

Re: 70 K20 Build in Alaska
Thanks guys and will do. The closest I ever got to hitting a moose out here was on this trucks maiden voyage home from when I bought her. Definitely added a little to the pucker factor driving it for the first time and in snow. Wheels are 16.5x8.25's and 33x12.50's.

Re: 70 K20 Build in Alaska
Mechanically there is not much to do with this one. Prior owner went through the engine and driveline. I have a new radiator for it as well as exhaust. Also, plan on replacing the booster with one of the ones Frank sells. I originally wanted to lift it but, I love the stance now. Overall was a pretty simple truck to put together. It runs and drives great. I still have the interior to finish up too but, I have to go out of town for work until October.
