Same here. I've personally swapped 5 lug 2wd axles for 6 lug 4wd axles in a mid 70s square body with a 12 bolt.

Where does one acquire those wheels? Do they come in other bolt patterns, such as 5x4.75?

I'm not much for the big rims on these trucks, but I love how these look! Nice work.

Re: 22" GM Transport Steel Wheels on Square body? Anyone?

Bringing back an old thread from the dead... I have a set of the 22's sitting here at the dealership that I was going to give to my friend for his Escalade, but my boss (mom), won't let me release them to him. Can anybody here speak to their structural integrity? Anybody had any issues? Why does GM simply want us to dispose of them as opposed to a core where we send them back? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Wait.... your dealership doesn't have to send them back? The dealership I work at has to send them back to ADI or pay a core charge.

That's correct. They came with a sticker on them stating that they are not for extended use, and that we are to dispose of them. I imagine they build in a charge for the wheels somewhere along the line.

Interesting. Maybe it's different in Canada.

Anyone have a template to show where to drill the holes to mount the clips to use the dog dish caps on these wheels?

I just picked up a set of these for my 77 shortbed. Does anyone know what 6-lug rotors to use without spacers?

Re: 22" GM Transport Steel Wheels on Square body? Anyone?

Looks sick on both the C/10 and your K5!

I recently went to my local Chevy dealership for a pair and they told me the transport wheels arent DOT legal. I bit concerning... they also said there was no way I was getting a pair! HA HA I guess that ended that option.

I agree with Kieth, not a fan for the triple step but, they are cost effective.
