My truck has Auxiliary Leaf Springs. Did they come on some trucks or is this some add on parts? |

The extra leaf 1/2 pack is a a factory overload with coils only, came on a lot of trucks. They work great too.

Replaced carb and engine runs great. Moving on to brakes. Turns out engine is a 350. This projects keeps getting better.

Just picked up 81 Chevy truck frame disc brakes front and rearend. CL find almost free.
Fed Ex delivered springs and shocks 2"x4" drop Now I got to get to work. |

I have the aux springs too I got two blocks and cut the bottom pig tail off the ride on the extra spring little bouncey but smooth with 600lb of cement bags. Better shocks location will help that.

Guy with woodmizer sawmill cut a white oak and red oak lumber out of some logs I took him.

Donor truck
I now have two donor and only need one. Will get power steering, front suspension, and disc brakes. Off of this truck and sell my other one on CL. Thanks for all the information on this site. |
