Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
I'm "in" on the horn thing.
What about the ground wires for the horn and ww wipers thru the blinker relay? "Blink, beep, wipe...", "Blink, beep wipe...", "Blink beep, wipe....". Better yet, do it on your own truck and ask his opinion of, "....how come you think it's doing that"?

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
a good long zip tie on the driveshaft. Wouldn't do it to a nice vehicle, depending on how long it takes him to find the source of the ticking it might take some paint off.

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
My wife rolled down the drivers window, and put glass on the seat and on the ground.
Well I had had some cash (2 grand) in the glovebox from her selling some of her art. She had been bugging me to get it out, but I just kept forgetting. I also had my range bag with a couple of guns in there. You could have heard my heart hit the floor when I saw that 'broken' window and the open glove box. I was curious why she was filming me, but honestly I was so pissed at myself, and knew the ass chewing I was about to get, that I didn't put two and two together. Needless to say, when she asks me to get **** out of the car, I just get the **** out of the car. |

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
If your buddy has a 4x4, slip his TC into neutral.
Readjust his passenger side mirror. Now don't take this the wrong way but I'm kinda glad you're not my 'friend'.

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
Worst two I have done (both to the same guy on the same night)... We were toilet papering his house in high school, and I got the bright idea to shove toilet paper up his exhaust... Well, apparently so did every other guy I was with that night. In hindsight not the best idea we've ever had. We also used an entire industrial roll of saran wrap and wrapped his car shut. Front to back, then side to side, then front to back, then side to side again...
Again, highschool... I would apologize to the kid if I knew him now.

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
IF the truck was parked in a safe area away from anything ,and IF you guys are true buds, and IF the 3rd member will clear the housing then it could work.
My buddy did this to HIMSELF when rebuilding a VW swing axle. He assembled the ring gear on the wrong side of the pinion. He had to laugh at himself and then drove it around the block with 4 speeds in reverse and 1 speed forward. VERY scary in a dune buggy! Don't do it! All the best, Dirk |

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
Pick up a bottle of liquid @ss. You can get it on Ebay.
That stuff is powerful. Jaw dropping, nose hair burning, awful smell. It can last up to a few hours, but it's not permanent. It's foul. Here's a youtube video of someone that sprayed it in a friend's truck: Best of all, it takes little effort for a superior reward and it's not permanent. If you get a chance, check out some of the liquid @ss videos on youtube. There's some amazing reactions!

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
Years ago I knew some firemen that kept adding a little gas to a co-worker's little Honda CRX. He'd bragged about how much money he was saving so they REALLY gave him something to brag about. It went on for several months and EVERYBODY knew but him. It was pretty hard to keep a straight face when he'd tell you he got 62 mpg on his last tank full.

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
When I was in high school, there was a guy with a 72 Chevy pickup. Some of my friends removed his window cranks and inside door handles, then made sure there were no Vise Grips or pliers in the glovebox. The truck didn't have a sliding back window, so after he shut the doors, there was no way for him to get out. I've never tried it, but apparantly, you can't reach through the vent window and push the button on the outside door handle.

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
I've done the zip tie on the driveshaft joke a bunch of times, but I use the 24" long ac zip ties and what I call a time delay fuse. Place the zip tie on the driveshaft then pull it strait up the driveshaft and fasten the other end with a half wrap of making tape. It comes loose at around 45mph.
The best one I ever did was wiring a dead snake to a buddies exhaust pipe, not a pleasant smell but in my defense he put the snake on my hood first

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
Horn hooked to brakes, ww wipers, backup lights, turn signal.....done those a bunch of times. Zip tie on the driveshaft is also a good one.
One time in high school we removed a driveshaft from a truck. Underclassman who couldn't stop parking in the senior lot...LOL On the list of things not to do to friends: Had a bouncer I worked with way back when who was an ex car thief. He did time and had been out a few years. He stole the radio out of our manager's Lincoln. When the manager was telling us about how his radio had been stolen, this guy says he thinks he has one that will fit. Next night he sells him his own radio back.

Re: Practical Joke - Will It Work?
Hahah exactly what I was thinking. The wiper squirter pointed into the crotch is excellent! Also taking the inside door handles and window cranks is priceless. Theres some dang good ideas in here! Glad you people don't live close to me! We cut wood in the winter as a group and usually have around 4-5 guys all pitch in and help each other out. This one obnoxious mouthy kid had a little ford ranger that kept bragging about how "awesome" it was. So he would volunteer his little truck to drag the trees out of the timber once we cut them. Well one time he backed up to let the chain loose after dragging the tree out. When he let the slack out, my buddy hooked the chain to a near by stump, instead of letting his chain loose. So when he took off, he hit the end of a 20ft chain tied to an anchor! He hit the end of the chain so hard, it lifted the back tires up off the ground and threw all of the crap out of the back of his truck. Needless to say, we about pissed ourselves. Well even though he was obnoxious, he did have a sense of humor, so he laughed it off. However when he backed up to have us unhook the chain for the second time, my buddy just went over there and rattled it instead of unhooking it... Yep you guessed it, round two! The second time he nailed the end of the chain he got a little pissy. Probably one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed. He started unhooking the chain himself after that. |
