Re: Has there ever been a question this forum that hasn't been anwsered?

If the question was "were 60 - 66 trucks produced at Van Nuys?" the answer would be "yes" - at least in '64, '65 and '66.

Yes, that was the question.
Ok, next question: who's got an "L" code truck? Chevy or GMC?
I don't follow GMC's too closely, but my guess is that's what was assembled in Los Angeles (Van Nuys) since I've never seen a Chevy from there. ??

Re: Has there ever been a question this forum that hasn't been anwsered?

Hey Keith,
Then maybe you can help me with this one as the serial number I have does not seem to have a plant associated with it in one of the catalogs I looked at (I think it was LMC's):

1961 Chevy Apache 10

Serial #:
1c1440101058

Which plant would the "oh" or "Zero" be from? Oshawa? Oakland?
Tom

My 1962 Chevy short fleetside is a L code.

Here's the VIN card for a '61 Chevy truck:

http://service.gm.com/dealerworld/vi...et%20Truck.pdf

It does show the plant code as "O" but unfortunately does not specify which plant that would be.
