Hood should be here friday . This truck has just kinda hung around . After the rule change i didnt need the truck , so it has sat . Kinda getting fired up about it . My oldest daughter showed a bit of interest in trying to run a bracket race . Might just put her in this thing and let her go at it .

Nice square body. I'm considering buying a square body s15 with 40000 miles and doing the swap too. Do you know if he used a kit or fanned up the stuff.

I think the mounts and headers are a kit . The wiring is a modified factory harness . I need to figure out the pin arrangment to cycle one of the fans .

Well , the truck intake is tall enought you have to use a cowl hood . Truck has been completely stripped and is in the body shop . He told me today it looks like next monday or so . Also price a custom turbo kit from trick performance at $4500 plus tune and fuel upgrades . Probably just put the 224 cam and a nice conveter in it .

Im thinking the Yank truck thruster would be ok for a converter like 25-2600 . I also am having the 4L60E built . I bought a pair of 165 radials and a pair of 275/60's and had them monted on a set of weld draglites that match the ones i have a set of 28 x 10.5 s on . The guy that bought my Black 88'back half truck called me the other day and he pulled all the interior out of his truck and gave it to me . ill get a few pics up soon .

Also they just posted the div 4 bracket final rules and my other truck(yellow luv) is not legal on 3 counts . Tranbrake , 2 step and electric shift . This is the only race of the season like this for me and the original reason i bought the truck . Good thing it stuck around . I will be footbraking this truck in no-e slow or et sportsman at the bracket finals as i now have no choice but to finish this truck in a hurry and test every friday night i can .

Truck is still in the body shop . Bed is ready and cab almost done . Ended up with a 3200 lock up converter and adding a Corvette servo with fresh fluid . Ill try and get some pics up soon .

Went to look at it today and it is in full primer . Body looks good . He had it ready to be wet sanded . Said i could pick it up thursday . I also ordered all new door and window gaskets . Truck looks good .

i will tommorow . So ready to have this back . Almost 3 weeks past original finish date . I went by 2 days ago and the bed was off . Truck always leaked fuel when the tank was full . One of the three fingers on the in tank pump wasnt hooked on the pump install . got that fixed while the bed was off .

It will be white with a silver metallic two tone broken with a black border and dark charcoal grey gears airbrushed on the silver side and on the hood .

Well this is exactly what i ask him for the black break up strip has not been added yet , and might not get added . We will try it in tap and if it works we will add it . It is definately different . Let me know what you think good or bad . I wanted different and took him the stencil and colors . Here is the pics :

Thanks , it is different that is for sure . The Luv is solid Yellow , My 49' i spent way to much on and is a classic 2 tone , My daily has a cowl hood with a smaller strip on the side of the hood , my powerstroke is plain jane , i wanted to think outside the box on this one . Kinda wanted a modern version of these . Any guesses on what this cost me with a new windsheild installed ?

Just finishing touches left . Trans rebuild and a 3200 lockup converter and a 224R cam and a tune . About to finish up reassembly and put a vette servo in it today.

Im going to footbrake it saturday this weekend in points meet . If it does good i'll run it sunday . If not ill go back to the yellow truck . I went out first round both days last weekend in the Yellow truck . Need a change for some reason .
