Yeah, the trim color is rather unique. I figured it would be love it or hate it, but not a single person this weekend told me to loose the trim.

Why wait till the Blazer is done Dave. This one can be your right now.....for the right price, of course

I only hope my truck turns out that good. It looks excellent with the wheels on now. Still drooling and I have looked at the pic about 5 times now......

I don't even want to add up the reciepts yet. They are still coming in. Lets just say that I could have gone and paid cash for a nice new truck, or did this. I already have a lot of nice new trucks.

This is something I had planned to do to my 82 Blazer. Me and a buddy started about 4-5 years ago wanting to build a restored truck and update it with bags and big wheels. We both got side tracked, and it never happened.

I saw this truck, and realized it was a chance to do exactly what we had planned, but not wait for a truck to be restored. I am very pleased with the results, and the response from my piers.

The guys at the shop that built my truck asked me to not make it public until it was ready for debut. I fulfilled that promise, and kept it off the net until Thursday evening before we took the truck to Texas HeatWave, one of the largest shows in the south.

I also have some commitment to a magazine to keep the pictures of the construction out of the public eye too. That is still in the works....

Thanks for the compliment. Since the truck is all original, I was very pleased to see the red interior. The other option would have been plaid.

Everyone will have different opinions, and I certainly respect that. Personally I love the interior. It's certainly different, but so is the mustard yellow trim....
