Hi John, I just talked to Gaileen about the KCMO All Truck Nationals and she confirmed that the dates for the show are September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2014. It would be great to see you there... I will PM you Gaileens phone number. LockDoc

Re: Best truck show for Classic Trucks mag to cover?
The weekend before the midwest all truck nationals is greaserama, there's plenty of old school hotrod trucks that show up for it. Spend the week around kc do some shop tours/articles on brothers/lmc/peteandjakes/I'm sure I'm forgetting others. Then stick around for the all truck nats, Saturday evening there's a huge local cruise in that can bring 1000 cars in the mall on the other side of town. Cruise old rt 66 there or home.
Kill a few birds in one trip. All of us would sure enjoy seeing you again.

Re: Best truck show for Classic Trucks mag to cover?
John, if you're looking for a trip down South, I'd say to check out Cruising the Coast, 10/6-10/13/2014. It stretches out along about 40 miles of the Mississippi Gulf Coast at different venues. There were over 7000 registered vehicles last year. We always have a great group of trucks down there (many from this forum) and there are plenty of nice areas for photo shoots.

Run to sun in Mrytle beach and the GMC Chevy in Maggey Valley NC. The Charlotte show The 2014 Power tour in June at any of their shows all week long even could do a ride along like Hot rod mag does. Hint,Hint!

How about the NSRA show in Oklahoma City in April? It's always a good show. We love our trucks in Oklahoma.

Re: Best truck show for Classic Trucks mag to cover?
John you should consider this as an option since its early enough in the season. You can get the scoop on the other photo journalists since this will be the debut show for several new builds. N2billet will have "Tiffany" out for its maiden voyage along with trucks from noted shops such as Reyna brothers, Rheas Chevy, and Drops-R-us. Check my page on InstaGram for last years coverage.

I know Oklahoma loves their trucks, I've driven my old trucks through that state since they weren't old trucks. The Turner, Walker, and the backroads. |

Syracuse nationals, Goodguys-springfield,MA and Carlisle all truck. However, I've always thought the magazines never give the northeast very much love.

Pigeon Forge, TN's "Shades Of The Past" and "The Fall Grand Run" are just a week apart each fall and are seriously chock full of C10's from all over the southeast.

Re: Best truck show for Classic Trucks mag to cover?
John- I'm not sure who Chuck is. Scroll to the bottom of my I/G page and you will see pics from 12 and 13. Also follow #lonestarthrowdown for pics of builds. Its going to be huge, but most importantly to you is there are a LOT of classic trucks there along with the late models. Streettrucks is there and I believe Truckin was too.
