1991 k5 blazer build
Well I guess I'm going to have to break down and start a build thread. A little back ground. Growing up we had a used car lot. When I was 15 we got in a purple k5 blazer that I wanted really bad to be my first car. For whatever reason my dad didn't want me to have it. Fast forward to 31, I decided that I really wanted to find a blazer to build with/for my little boy. My dad metioned that his friend might want to part with his. It was an extremely clean 1991 k5 (v10) blazer. One of the very last to roll off of the line. I didn't know it at the time but while it was extremely mechanically sound the paint was pretty rough. Looked great going down the road but once you got close flaws jump out at you from everywhere. Well my first major order of business was to get her painted to avoid major rust problems later on. In the near future she will get 6 inches of lift, some mickey thompson classic 16x10 wheels and some 35 inch trail grapplers along with being regeared to 4.27. I also have a motor out of a 2010 ss camaro sitting in my shop. Here she is and how far I've gotten so far.
