What throwout bearing did you use? Use an extended one for the proper release... i cant find my part number

use the internal slave version on a nv3500. I got mine out of a 1998 s-10 and it worked without any problems

I ended up bailing on that style transmission, after I had a friend weld up an oil pan for me. I have this oil pan on the truck that does not leak a drop, but now I didn't even need to run it because I went with the internal slave transmission. There is just no grinding enough to make that transmission work. Has to be a difference between the S10 and 1500 transmission. If the pan was easily removed and I had a replacement, I would definitely get rid of it, just because I hate having such a useful part on here that unfortunately serves no purpose now.

Just a thought here but isnt the 3500 only rated at 350 lbft of torque? Also the lq4 torqueis higher than that factory.

Im just spewing what i have read so take it for what its worth.
