Re: gauge question

U still get notification emails? Damn Dman (lol I like the way that looks when typed). Its sad, but I can tell when there are new posts by the "shape" of the forum at a glance. I had a photographic memory, so when the shape changes, I can tell posts have be rearranged......I know thats really random, but what do you expect from me at this point?

Re: gauge question

these gauges are kicking my butt!!! got the wrong adapter in the mail today, so i went to work and got another sending/temp sensor and going to run it to the gauges, I've been reading over the ol world wide web this may work...got tired of messing with these freaking fittings, and 50 bucks for a temp sending unit was crazy...hoping this works, i read that they read the same so why wouldn't it work???

I cut the plug off. Then I selected the wires that I needed or could use, power, ground, fuel sending unit, left signal, right signal, hi beam... I used these wires to plug into my Dakota Digital brain box.

I'm reading 20-25, i got my volt gauge hooked straight to the alternator and working good, is there any problems with this? and how you guys hook up the lights to all the gauges? Re: gauge question

OP is about 55 at start, idle 30-45. It'll depend a little on what oil you went with, and frankly some gauges just read a little "off".

For the lights; I only have 3 gauges that are lit with bulbs, and only two are hooked up. I just put them together (series) and made sure the fuse was enough for both.
