Re: Gasoline

it's been $1.93 here for a little while now, but I went down the road into powdersville today and saw $1.73. I can't remember the last time I saw it that low? I think it dipped just below $2/gal a couple/few years ago for a while, but that was about it.

Since it doesn't matter to you, please send me the money you don't spend on gas. To make it easy for both of us, just send me the same amount you spend each fill up!

Sure is nice that Powdersville has that moonshine-business whose tax offsets the would-have-been extra tax on gasoline. BTW: That Apple Pie variety is prollyy the smoothest thing with C12H22O11 in it that I've ever tasted. Wow!

Re: Gasoline

Gas here $1.829

Diesel here $2.879

Why the big difference in diesel and gasoline?

Yessir. Winn Dixie is a grocery store here in FL. And you get points for buying certain things. Last fillup was $1.20 a gallon. You get up to 20 gallons.

I’ve been afraid to mention gas prices for fear of jinxing it and it starting back up again . but 1.89 was the latest 40 miles from Kansas City .

Yeah must be common now. Our HyVee food store does it, we got 70 cents per gallon off the other day. Up to 20 gal. Pretty cool

Re: Gasoline

It's my opinion if your not buying gas where it's the cheapest, Your adding to the problem. If they can sell it to people higher than the rest of the stations their going too. I understand a few cents here and there for personal preference. But, if everybody bought from the cheapest guy .....they would all have to come down in price.
We have a station here that's about 50 cents a gallon higher than anybody else and I still see people buying it there.
I'd push it down the street before I'd pay that guy's price.

Re: Gasoline

Running errands this morning seen $1.76 for E87 at several local stations. I can remember in high school bought regular leaded for a whopping $0.16.9 a gallon. High test or Ethyl gas was $0.21.9 per gallon. That was during the mid 60's gas wars Wichita stations had on every street corner. Those were the days. $5.00 would fill a 20 gal. tank, until just recently couldn't even mow my lawn for $5.00. I'm liking these lower prices big time.

As low as 2.56/gallon on the Central Coast, but good old Sacramento will put a stop to that.

Re: Gasoline

I'm waiting to see all the product prices that spiked due to the sharp rise in fuel costs go back down due to the drastic reduction in fuel prices.
