I don't have seats in the truck right now so I can't tell you for sure. Also, I don't have a bench seat any longer.

There is some adjustability to this method. You can mount the sheet metal anywhere between where the sheet metal from the back of the cab joins the door jam (near the latch) down to the floor. You get more room at the floor level.

The 6 x 9 Pioneer speaker that I tried does not touch the cab anywhere. I has a 1/2 inch at the back & 1"+ on the side. The speaker is 15 yrs old so newer models may be different.
